Minecraft server hosting
Every engine. Every modpack. One click.
Citruxhosting hosts every flavour of Minecraft \u2014 vanilla, Paper, Forge, Fabric, Bedrock, modded, modpacks. Pick your engine and deploy in 60 seconds on AMD EPYC + NVMe with free DDoS protection.
Paper
Paper is the most-used Minecraft server software in the world — a high-performance Spigot fork with deep optimisation, plugin support, and stability that Mojang’s vanilla server can’t match.
Forge
Forge is the original mod loader for Minecraft Java Edition — the engine behind RLCraft, ATM9, Vault Hunters, and most of the modded ecosystem.
Fabric
Fabric is the modern, lightweight mod loader — home to Sodium, Lithium, and the new wave of performance-focused Minecraft mods.
Bedrock
Bedrock Edition runs on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, mobile, and Windows 10. Host a server everyone can join — no Java account required.
Modded
Modded Minecraft server hosting that handles 100+ mods, big modpacks, and chunk-loading farms without choking.
What makes a good Minecraft server host?
The same things that make a good general-purpose host — fast CPU, NVMe storage, low-latency network, real DDoS protection — plus three Minecraft-specific things that most generic hosts get wrong.
First: single-thread CPU performance. Minecraft’s main game loop runs on one thread. A 64-core EPYC won’t outperform an 8-core EPYC for Minecraft — what matters is single-thread clock speed and IPC. We pick CPUs accordingly.
Second: NVMe storage. Minecraft is brutal on disk because it constantly reads and writes 32x32 chunk regions. Spinning rust will tank your tick rate; even consumer SSDs struggle with heavy modded worlds. We run NVMe everywhere.
Third: a Pterodactyl-class control panel. The legacy panels (Multicraft, custom in-house UIs) make basic operations — editing files, scheduling restarts, restoring backups — painful. Pterodactyl makes them one-click. Every Citruxhosting plan ships with the same panel.
