It bolts a hundred-plus mods onto Minecraft 1.12.2, including Lycanites Mobs (the dragons), Better Survival, Tough as Nails, and a dozen others that turn vanilla Minecraft into a brutal survival sim. Six players in one chunk is enough to bring an undersized server to its knees.
For RLCraft on a server, the bottleneck is rarely raw RAM — it’s entity counts and chunk-loading. The map fills up with Lycanites mobs, dragons, and creatures that wander hundreds of blocks. We recommend 8 GB minimum (our Diamond plan) for a 4–6 player server, and 12 GB (Netherite) if you want to host 8+ players or pre-generate a large map.

How to install RLCraft on Citruxhosting

How much RAM do I need for an RLCraft server?
8 GB is the realistic minimum for 2–6 players. 12 GB is recommended if you want 8+ players or a pre-generated overworld. Less than 8 GB will work briefly and then die under entity load.
Can I host RLCraft on a 4 GB server?
Technically yes, but you’ll be restarting it constantly. We don’t recommend it.
Does RLCraft work with mods like JourneyMap or Optifine?
JourneyMap is bundled. Optifine is client-side only — install it in your launcher, not on the server.
